Ron's proof that nice guys don't finish last!
His racing career began in 1955 at the age of 7 racing Go Karts. In 1972 he took to racing Flat Track Motorcycles. After a few years he was back to Go Karts where he ran road courses throughout Florida with such competitors as Scott Pruitt and Lake Speed. Those were fun times, when the sport was just coming into it's own.
Ron then took a break from racing to become involved with his children's sports until the late 1990's when he returned once again to Karting...this time on dirt tracks where he won several championships.
In 2007 we welcomed him into the Pro Challenge Racing family. He began by running circle track until the lure of road racing beckoned him and he truly found his niche. After purchasing a second Pro Challenge car, dedicated to road course, he won numerous races and set several track records in his Rookie Year! He finished 3rd in the SARRC and 2nd in his region with SCCA. He has shown that the Pro Challenge car is clearly the car to beat.
Ron attributes a large part of his success in this program to all the help he has received from Pro Challenge, Howard Brennan, Larry Buehler and Brad Sanders.
