Jarrett Snowden is a 16 year old 10th grader who started racing at the age of 5 in tony go carts.
By age 10 he moved to champ carts and won a few races but hadn't quite yet found his stride.
Then at 14 he began racing Pro Challenge cars and the following year he finished second in points to his Dad, J.L. Snowden. Jarrett credits his father with getting him where he is today.
In 2009 he won the Bass Champions Challenge Series Championship in his Pro Challenge car.
He treats racing as work, devoting the time and effort that becoming a champion requires...
all this while still helping out at his parent's lodge.
Quite a remarkable young man, and one to keep your eye on.
Jarrett's personality has earned him the respect and companionship of some awesome teammates.
Sene Capps has been a big help and Carlie Lewis has been great fun at the track lately.
Also Howard Brennan, the Florida Pro Challenge representative, has always been there when needed.
His wish is for everyone to have a great racing year, but be forewarned...
Jarrett intends to win the championship!!!
