No matter what Brad is racing…he quickly becomes the one to beat!!!
Brad started racing Go Karts at the age of 9, winning his first state championship in Indiana at 12 years old in Sprints. He then moved to Enduros, winning the Indiana State Championship at 15.
He went on to Legend Cars and won the 1998 rookie of the year and then the 1999 Florida State Championship. Having conquered circle track, he took his Legend car to road course, winning the SCCA Regionals.
In 2003, he and his brother Rod, also an accomplished racer, decided to team up
and began racing Pro Challenge cars…
with Brad winning the 2005 Southeastern Championship in PBOC for road racing.
For the next 2 years the brothers became driving instructors
for the Porsche-BMW Club while having their own driver’s school…
teaching basic chassis set-ups and renting Pro Challenge race cars for circle track.
In 2006, he won the Pro Challenge Florida State Championship for circle track. The following year he finished 2nd in the state, only to his brother who took the championship.
They continue to help others with engine builds, chassis set-ups and driving instruction. Brad is still road racing Pro Challenge cars and has gotten back into Sprint Karts,
remaining very competitive in both. He’s looking for another state championship in 2010.
Brad believes that “racing is a way of life no matter what we run” and he shouts out to some great racing friends such as Howard Brennan, John and Diane Litzinger, the entire Williamson family, the Snowdens and his brother Rod to…“Keep on racing guys!!”.
